Well a study from my home country of Canada claims that men who smoke pot are more likely to be in road accidents. I have to ask what does this have to do with anything? They claim that "this is the first study to investigate the association between driving under the influence of cannabis and a wide range of dangerous driving behaviors", however they are wrong, there have been several studies on driving under the influence of marijuana.
What I find interesting is they are surprised that driving under the influence is not a good idea. Or at least that is what the article seems to suggest. Why not report that driving while asleep is dangerous? This study is a nonstarter, simply because it is logical that driving while stoned is a very very bad idea, and is, justifiably, against the law, at the same time, its not nearly as dangerous as driving drunk.

ReplyDeleteWell, its not BS that driving under the influence of anything that affects your reaction time is a bad idea, however it is BS to suggest that this has any relevance to any meaningful discussion.
