Good Job Hawaii
I would like to send out my personal kudos to Hawaii for rejecting the US Federal government funding for a marijuana eradication program. The program code named "Green Harvest" (cool name actually, if only it weren't so devious) would have provided funding and allowed DEA and state police to fly around in low flying helicopters to spy on peoples personal property looking for the elusive marijuana plant.
Locals have complained that the helicopters were disturbing both due to the noise and the fact that they invaded their privacy. Citizens of any country should not have to worry about police choppers in the air hovering around their back yard. There is also little evidence that operation "Green Harvest" has done any good in years past.
