CBD May Prevent BSE

It appears that Marijuana is not only a wonder drug for humanity, but it may also prevent the spread of BSE A.K.A. (Ok I am enjoying abbreviations today) Bovine Spongeiforme Enzephalopathy A.K.A. Mad Cow Disease. According to this article cannabidinol (CBD) blocks the accumulation of prion proteins, the protein responsible for the spreads of BSE. The research is only preliminary, however it does look promising.
