Ok This kid was only 17, so maybe he can be forgiven his blunder. That being said, who in their right mind would consider land owned by the Deputy Chief of Police to be a logical place for an outdoor grow spot. Sure the land was only and investment opportunity and not the cop's residence, but he was bound to spot the plants at some point.
