Man Pleads Guilty to Growing Marijuana For Sick Wife

WDBJ Channel 7 in Virginia reports that a Scottsville man originally thought to have grown nearly five million dollars worth of marijuana actually only grew less then forty thousand dollars worth which he says was for his wife who has multiple sclerosis. The marijuana helps the woman deal with the side effects of her medication which makes her nauseous and unable to eat without the aid of marijuana. Virginia has no medicinal marijuana laws so this man could face thirty years in prison for making sure his wife was as healthy as he could.
